Crager Black D Window Wheels
Ok, my stock Sport Coupe rims don't really appeal to me much, or anyone else I know of for that matter...
I would love some z06 18inch rims, but seeing that I make 6.20 an hour, pay my own insurance, pay for gas and food and all my running around money, and to mention I'm 18 and a Highschool senior, I like these pretty well
They're kinda plane, and I realize I'm not going to win a carshow any time soon, but I'm more into the performance over the appearance aspect at this moment
I only see 17x9 at 71 bucks, and the 16x7 seems too narrow for performance oriented tires. If I bought some in the future, I think I'd go w/ kumho's also.
Would there be any weight savings over the stockers? They look pretty light...
Anyone running these wheels or have any input?
Thanks,
Brandon

If you like 'em, get 'em.
Personally though, they look like Nascar truck series wheels. Not very attractive on a 3rdgen IMHO.

they do look sorta like a truck wheel but also a road race rim. so i think they will look good on thirdgens. especially a red or dark blue one. go for it. 17x9's for sure.

There is a hawaiian orc purple RS up in Jasper with those wheels and the goodyear yellow raised letter tires... not very appealing at all.
I don't really care for them as they remind me alot of truck 'wagon wheels' painted black.

well the yellow lettering in the picture doesn't do it for me, but some blackwalls would look ok.
Guess I'd have to see it in person.
how much lighter would u guess they'd be than stockers?

those belong on 4x4s, cheap rim to beat up in the mud and on rocks......about it though. MAybe 17s would look wicked though, so go for it.

i was thinking about the cragar soft 8's myself, same dimensions and price. i think they would look pretty good on our cars, esp. the 17*9's.

I myself was considering these rims. The tire store i work for was running a promo for a set of 4 of those with 4 tires for only $250. I almost got em in 15s. However I decided to wait and get some 17X11 TT2s. But those in 17X9 on a black car would look pretty nice. Somebody get some photoshop goin...

Peep the gallery
http://omnipotent-goku.com/iroc
under the "third gens around the world" their are a few cars running like this
I think that looks pretty damn tight. I guess it would all come down to the way the rest of the car looks and the tire combo.

i think they would look better on a dark car black (or deep purple in my case), but yeah they do look pretty good on that car. I'm def. gonna go w/the black soft 8's, can't beat $59.99 for a 17*9 IMO.

those soft 8's don't look bad either, they're on summit right?
Simply going for functionality and performance, appearance 2nd, I think they're gold.

17x9's w/ Kumho Escta 711's in at least 255/45/17's...would look sharp and perform better than the ugly impossible to polish/clean wheels I'm running now.
what ya think?
