Need some opinions guys...

Hey guys with what i have planned for my car i think some ideas maybe too much for the body. plans go as follow.

91-92 z28 ground effects
ascd big block hood
hawks 5'' spoiler
lowered ruffly 2''
17 or 18'' Foose Thrustar rims

now here comes the killer, i was plannin on putt on 4th gen firebird mirrors (might still do it) and then also 80-81 z28 fender vents. im not sure if all of that will be too much and look gotty when done. the car will be black wih a blue stripe. what do you guys think i should do?

I love the 91-92 ground effects and you should do those no matter what. Can't say I'm a big fan of the big block hood, but different strokes for different folks.
Can you post pictures of the wheels you are thinking of?

Id say dont do the ascd big block hood (Im not a fan of that hood) or the fender vents.

I do like the 4th gen mirror idea though. Id say go w/ a larger cowl for the hood.

I would not do the vents -and- 91/92 GFX, that's alot of vents!

The fourthgen mirror is an -easy- mod to do and looks pretty cool.

I voted to both because I love seeing early third gens with stuff that came out in later third gens

i say keep it lookin like it is. there are fewer and fewer cars that are set up like yours anymore. dont be the same like everyone else. u know like the 91-91 gfx and the 17 and 18" rims. i thought you wanted a prostreet look and not pro touring look.

i did but after watchin overhaulin and then seein kandie's car and just some really nice show cars in magazines. i wanna change it up a bit. plus im tryin to do what i think my car would look good as. im already tired of the long tube headers (theyve been on for less then a yr), i love the looks of the 91-92 z28's and sincei figure i wont be gettin one any time soon, might as well just do the gfx

I think the vents would look good with the 91-92 gfx. 84custom's car and flyinlows car look awesome with them. Hood, mirrors and spoiler should be awesome too

every single one of foose's wheels looks like crap to me...way to much bling. they look heavy too.

i say stay with the early thirdgen look too.

well i dont think the weight of the wheels will be a problem when i get done with my motor, so them being heavy (if they are) wont be a problem with 600-800+/- HP. those rims i posted are the only good lookin ones they have on Foose's site and hey there still a 5 spoke design. im goin with these rims mainly becuz i havent seen any on a thirdgen and i dont feel like copying everyone and goin with Boyds.

i think i might hold on to the vents for awhile but if someone gets me at the right time they can be someone elses but i think for now they will stay in my parts pile.
