Does It Look good (Y or N)

just want some honest opinions i threw this paint job on a few weeks back the main body color is carbon blue w/ balck effect and the flames are a mixture of colors base color is stratus blue with silver tips i then threw kandy cobalt blue on top then topped it off with clear with a little white pearl mixed in. so should i leave it or go with a differ color and design i do this for a living so its not hard. Also any other changes yall would make let me know. Now some pics

Oh and this big headache im trying to figure out how im gonna stuff this beast into the bird its a blown 454 ive been building up for a yr its ready to rumble but im not.

Personally I belive that you have skill. The Flames are really well layed out and flow nice. Alot Better than some other flames that are out there. More pics would be nice!

I would prefer a SBC in these cars but a 454 would be pretty sweet if done right.

I love how you are so subtle in the amazing amount of sweetness you possess in those pics; both motor and car...good job

Thanks for all the comments. The 454 was originally going into the 56 which is a pure show car its real old school style and it sits real high off the ground mainly so you can see all the detail that went into the underside of the car so putting a blown 454 would be a waste in that car. And yeah the motor sits a little high main reason its not in the car if i could find a thinner intercooler and get rid of the butterfly valve intake it wouldnt be so bad, but then again all that stuff on the motor makes it look like it could eat a few small cars.

I think you're going to need a taller hood....

the design of the flames is not bad but would look killer as a tribal kind of flame and also you should have it fade into the flames. maybe its just me but i dont like flame jobs where it looks like the paint is being ripped off and a new color is underneath. i think the nose should be the body color then have it fade into the flames, makes it look more bad ***.

Its a 56 we built this to aim it to our hispanic customers it represents the old school style mixed with a little lowrider style. Ill get you some better pics soon.

That was the origianl idea but i got lazy i believe this paint job took me about 4hrs to do so it was a rush job. Im fixing to repaint the car so next time ill go extreme on it but i think im gonna airbrush them on for a realistic look.

Im fixing to tear all the suspension down to rebush everything plus ive got a drop kit sub frame connectors and disc brakes for all the way around so next paint job can be a slow one.

Looks good to me...I''m trying to figure out how to lay flames so that the 82 can have a multi colored layered flame job! Flames are not an easy thing to do!

I like the blue with blue...

I really hate to be an A$$ but the car in the pic above is a 57, or at least a 57 frontend. This is a 56

You havent seen the paint job LOL and yeah your partially right about the 57 front end but it was originally a 56 The 56 had been hit in the front hard we had found in a field about 100 yards away from my shop a 57 that had got smacked in the rear so we pieced them together. Ive got a GTO judge we are bringing back to life and a Challenger R/T that we just saved. Ill post some pics of them if anyone ants to see em.
