Me and my boys got some sweet toys!
I convinced 2 of my good friends to get thirdgens. The red 1986z28/lg4 was purchased today, and after 75miles it's over-heating, the top hose going to the rad has a hole in it. But it does have 18" Irocs.
The 1984 bird is stock also with an lg4. My 1992rs is my work in progress, with my custom drop, ultimate tbi, vafpr, open element, fi spacer, 3/8" tbi spacer, msd 6a, blaster coil, accell 8mm wires, borg warner cap/rotor, ac/emmissions delete, b&m sport shifter, battery relocated to the trunk, b&m tranny cooler, and fully gutted. Now i cant get traction anywhere in 1st gear, so that gets delt with next. The pics are a bit dark but whatever.

Ah going hoodless. I have a great story on that. I was painting my hood semi-gloss black but my car is also a daily so I needed to drive to school while it was drying. Well I got soccer practice after school and as I'm walking to my car, like one of the hottest chicks askes if she can have a ride. I'm like what the hell why could she of asked on anyother day. I say yes, she hasn't seen my car all she knows is that I have an older firebird. So she has to get her stuff from the locker room and I pull around. There are a bunch of *** sophomore<sp? football players waiting for their mommies to pick them up. Now my exhast is "missing" but it has a pretty quiet idle cuz I still have the cat on it. Anyways they are laughing at pointin at my car cuz I don't have a hood. Then she comes out just about to open the door when I rev it up to 5000 rpm.
She just about falls over while all the other guys whip their necks over at my car with a look on their faces like they had just craped themselves.
That was definitly the 2nd best time I've had in my car while parked. You can proabably guess the other

I understand what it's like to have to drive my camaro w/o a hood.
After my buddies and I swapped engines in my Sport Coupe I had to drive it for about 3 days before I figured a way to reattach the hood.
Air Cleaner sat up too high, had to run a spacer to clear the fuel line when i ran a 4160...
All is well now though.

The bra hides a crack that a 15year old rookie driver in a kia created (car was flawless when I bought it) When he blew a stop and drove right in front of me. Oddly enough the kia sufferd a popped rear tire, bent wheel, MAJOR damage to the rear door/quarter panel. All I got was a crack in the fiberglass, and $997 from his insurance company.
