I had to put a new bumper cover on because I had a minor run in with a very big excavator. The body shop rushed the paint work and never did the headlight pockets. I had to pull the tint to get an inspection sticker. Both will be fixed this spring.

 

Yeah, but they're kinda old.

Threw a set of polished Z06 rims

Soon will be installing these, once weather permits


BTW you're before pic was best IMO.

 

I LOVE the way the ZO6 rims look on there, especially with the nice brakes you have behind them

 

 

Vortech, I am gonna have to go to you house and take the silver paint off your car. That thing looks just like mine and the car I use to have before this one. I also planned on getting ZO6 wheels for it but since you have them I think Iwill have to look for something different. All well, Nice looking car though.

 

Ya know BOTTLEDZr28 I was going to paint my car silver too when I first saw your old car(the one with the extreme wheels) and then I saw a thirdgen in my area with the same paint work, so I changed my mind. When I first thought of the idea I thought it would be different, this was like 6 years ago, but then I started to notice silver cars everywhere I looked so I painted my car differently. Nice color for sure though on our cars. Still wish I would have gone through with it.

 

what color is your car? Wanna trade body panels? . I seriously want to paint my car a different color. This is the second silver 91z28 I own and I only painted it silver becasue I missed my firsdt one so much. Now it is getting old. Problem is, Ihave no idea what colro to go with.

 

Its GM Dark Blue Met. Similar to late model fbodies and corvette, but without the purple tint to it, just straight blue. Thier's is Navy Blue Met. I don't think my car would look good with silver panels and dark blue jambs, trunk, engine bay. Yours might look cool though with the blue panels and silver jambs, trunk, and engine bay I am thinking of throwing some silver "ghost" racing stripes on my car in the near future once I swap hoods. Maybe next winter.
