How do you show your ride?
Just wanted to get an idea of what other people do around here when it comes to showing the cars, personally i will open the hood, hatch have the windows down, dust it off and "detail" any spots and walk away. I'm not really the kind of person who willsit behind the car (mainly because i'm by myself and theres 100 cars to look at)
If its a people choice show i'll stay with the car and talk to kids and stuff since i think if you are friendly and talk to people looking at the car even if its not top choice you could get they're vote (its worked for me in the past)
I havent been to a whole lot of Judged shows yet, this summer will be my first year competeing with it so i kinda would like to get an idea of what people do.

i usually leave the hood down and then keep the windows up , even though the car is spotless in the interior and looks pretty good in the engine bay . Or ill roll the window half way down so people can see the tint.

hood open if its the right kinda show...my car wouldnt even get looked at, at some of the shows i go to.
More kids, newer cars ill open the hood, and roll the windows down, hatch always stays closed...no point to it being open

Yea occasionally i'll leave the windows halfway down but with the new seats and custom console thing i'm doing they'll be down, i pop the hatch to show off my super clean stereo install
Under the hood is nothing too special but i do have it cleaned up real nice and the chrome stuff looks real good, like people tell me mines nice because there is a teal/black/chrome contrast where as some stuff everything is chromed and doesnt look as good.

Hood open, windows down, i dust the car off with a California duster and dust everything off in the engine bay with a microfiber towel.
If someone catches me by the car i'll chat with them and answer any questions they have. But i also like to sit back and watch the people look at my car, or i walk around and check out the other rides.

i never get a chance to leave the car... which doesn't bother me. if there is that slim chance though it's in my sight at all times. i've had way to many things happen to my cars at shows to let it sit.

When you're with a club, you can leave and check out the other cars. SOMEONE is always there. I like to sit and talk though, LOTS of people like to talk, and that's part of the fun!

Hood up, windows and t-tops off. Rear hatch partly up. Depends on the show. I usually make rounds. Hang around the car for a half hour, walk around for a half hour. I usually make friends with the people I park near, so I never worry about leaving the car.

I have gotten my car 1000 point judged a few times and for judging, the hatch, hood and doors need to be open with windows up and ttops locked in.
For regular cruise ins in FL, the hood is open, the windows and Ts and closed. The reason is because there is so much moisture and crap in the air at night, the interior gets trashed too easy. A daytime show, the tops and windows are open, the hood is open and I'm close by.
While living in Minnesota, the car was open more because of the cleaner air, but FL is just dirty!! I don't even like opening the hood down here because of the dust and pollen in the air.

If you have any trophies from previous shows, display them. I was at a show Saturday and had mine displayed in the backseat. After the show was over I took them out just to take this picture. So many people came over to look at the car once I put the trophies out, I could barely take the pic.
