Check out my Show display boards

Whaddya think? I already have a few changes in mind. One of which being LESS TEXT on the secong board!!! I just kept rambling and I doubt anyone cares to read that much!

...anyhow, they're gonna be fairly small. I plan to make some form of stand and have them above the battery and the vapor canister.

What do you think?

I've always been told put what you've done, not what you plan to do "plans change".....

Looks good with a lot of thought

but your right on, I really don't see myself stopping and reading,
I think I would show a couple before and after pic's, and list the engine spec's.....

just my 0.02 worth

I agree, no one's ever put their plans on the board at shows around here.

Are those two sites sponsors of your car? If not, I wouldn't put them either, might mislead people into thinking they sponsor you somehow.

Also, "LOL" has no place on there.

And small? C'mon, everyone does theirs big and sits it in front of the car. Be proud of what you've got. No one's going to stop to look under the hood to read it. As well, a big board acts as kind of a caption when someone takes a picture of your car. With that said, make "1989 Camaro IROC-Z" either the same or slightly smaller than the "Chevrolet."

I like the overall design but keep the information to the point. Basically take a look at all the obnoxiously long and pointless sigs on every car board and don't do that. If people want to know your plans they'll ask. And that's the fun part about shows. It's not about bragging. It's about having fun talking about cars and meeting people.

Well, I should've mentioned that it's not for points. As good as it looks, I'm not even close to being competitive in a formal show with points, although I still show for fun.

I think the big boards are tacky. I'm gonna keep it small.

As for plans....I've already decided to take 'em off, just haven't had a chance yet.

The web addresses are there to thank those who helped. Like I said, It's not for competition, just for fun.

I'll post the changes when they're done. Some before pics would be cool.

That looks pretty good. Looks to be a high dollar sign also, depending on how it's made. 1 suggestion though, get a better pic of your wheel. Just doesn't look good with a missing center cap.
