as most would say if ur not worried about parking lots and the door getting dinged ditch it. If you plan on parking it lots of places keep it.

My opinion take it off...looks alot more smooth without it. If and when i paint my car in the future ill ditch mine also.

ya depends on what you have your car for. I took mine off on my GTA, and loved how it looked without it. But if you drive your car daily....I would consider keeping it.

I would take that off and put the newer style on it.I think 88 up on the camaro and 87 up on the firebirds.

Take it off. I did on my 88 and it looked so much better, as for the daily driver thing. I drive my car daily I just park in the corner far away from other idiots.

I agree completely. If you drive your car and are forced to park it in busy areas than leave it. it can save your door skin from a big mess. That tiny little strip looks better all beat up than your door skin. You can replace them periodically to freshen up their looks if you need to.
