anyone have a photo program that will allow you to zoom in and clean up the picture to actually see? i can brighten it but i can't quite make it out with my poor microsoft photo apps.
the only reason i assume they are 20's is the height of the vehicle. the purple base throws it off but the car is raised up more then it should be. i have yet to see a thirdgen with 20's on it's side at the right level. everyone takes angled pictures which hide how they look.

Weather they are 20's or 22's they did a good job. Most cars with wheels this size are jacked sky-high. I think they took their time getting the measurements right so it doesn’t look like every other car rolling down the road with 20+ inch wheels.

I just did some research on the wheels. Eagle Alloy Series 212 20x8 4.75bolt 0mm offset 4.5bs. This is the largest size they make to fit our cars and of that style wheel.
for 20's i'd say it looks pretty darn good, little more dish and some lowering and the idea would look sharp for a street/show car. i'm just not sure about the 20's yet though.
deadbird, excellent idea to get a rough estimate..

i would be iffy on 20's to jeff...they look good and fill yup the wheel well nicely but you cant bring the car very low..its almost stock hieght looking..even with bags it might be tough...id say at least 19's...what about that pic of the firebird or transam i cant remember forsale on ebay with bags it had 20's..anyone still got that pic..
yes but that one had a poor choice or rim and tire..
i'm just trying to see if it's possible. the dish will make the wheel look 1" smaller then it is but the fitment is the real issue as tire choice makes it almost 1" in dia more then factory giving the obvious that the car is higher then needed.
19 and 20" are very close in actual size, however it's the tire that makes the 20's raise the car obviously. if you can make a 19 look like a 20 that would be the real illusion that would work for both suspension and tire choice. you would definately need to use a reverse mount though as otherwise it would look out of place.

that's just it, the smallest size i could run and come close still puts me .7 over the stock dimension which is why it's hard with 20's. now i could play with the width but it would take some work. 19's would be very easy. it's an extra 8lbs of rotational weight to go from 19 to 20's though but they are the same price.

Its really hard to get a good looking rim on our cars without looking like a wagon.
I remember when 16" rims were the choice wheel size! It still amazes me to see a suv with 24's on it.
My bird came stock with 14" wheels...

well on thirdgens even 18s are going to look a bit large because of the slim and low profile of thirdgen body. On side note, some rims may actually be larger than their stated size. Some 18s for example maybe 18.5 due to style of lip and so on. I would definately say those wheels are larger than 18s.

i prefer a 17 or 18, 20's just look to out of proper size for me. need some side wall after all these car are from the 80's.
