Primer always looks good!

Its one thing to have a sleeper car.. its another to have your car just look trashy. The primer is the way to go.

Lets see, drag wheels, numbers on the window, huge cowl hood...I would have guessed it had a 2.8L under the hood t

EDIT: Wait it is a 305? Doesn't it have to be fast to be a sleeper?

haha I need the cowl to clear the new motor, I hated putting it on. Have to admit it has grown on me. But if you'e seen the cars around here it actaully fits right in. Couple kids around here have stock rs 5.0's with the 4" harwood cowls. Also the iroc daytona hood is really popular and i've seen them on 2.8 cars as well. The new motor is a 406, you can see it on my site just click my sig, or goto my cardomain.
Thanks for the compliments. Now if I could only get people to stop telling me to build the monte and forget the camaro.

I got a carb'ed 406 and I didn't have to change hoods...although I will be getting the harwood outlaw 4" soon.

I have the 2999 manifold which is a 1" taller vic jr. also i'm gonna run a tall air cleaner and seal it to the cowl so it just gets the fresh air. WHen i get it dyno'd may play with a carb spacer as well
Did you run a drop base air cleaner to clear your hood? And what manifold?
