Z28 Wing

Is it possible to install a 91-92 High Rise Z28 wing in my '88 GTA Trans AM? Do I need the Z28 Metal Lid for this mod (the piece the wing sits on)? Does anyone know the part number for this metal lid? I plan on buying the wing from the Jeg's Catalog
Thanks for your help

I think you will just have to fill any of your old holes and drill for the new ones. Thats is what my friend did on his RS.

Hey Karps...how much did those rims cost you if you don't mind me inquiring? They look nice. A friend of mine has a 92 RS, and I like his rims, but alas...if I got them, I'd be deemed a copycat. Bye the way, NICE ride......

The rims I won on Auction at Ebay for I think @$600. They came from aaarims.com. They're just 17" 97-99 WS6 wheels.

and thanks.

Hey KARP
Nice car....I visited your site and I liked your car a lot man; but I must tell you, you have to lower that car to finish the look on the outside. The 17" rims look nice, but the car just sits too high (of course, that's your car.....just my opinion though)
The lid I have in my car needs to go because rust went all the way through the metal, so it leaks water into the trunk. I will just get me one for a 91-92 Z28. These should bolt right up to my hatch right?
Thanks for all the help

It will bolt right up, but that piece of metal is expensive. I read an article on how to remove it on the other 3rdgen board, I think.

Where did you hook up your antenna cable to? I removed my antenna long time ago, but the radio sucks big time, really bad reception. Do i need to peel the cable and get to the center wire?
Thanks

I bought a windshield wire antenna from radio shack. IT was like $10 and works pretty well for me. But admittingly I rarely listen to the radio, I'm almost always playing CDs.

I intend to lower the car someday, just don't feel like dumping anymore cash into right now.
