Whatcha got going on with those strut towers? It looks like the black piece is actually seperate from the rest of the yellow engine bay. Are all our cars like that and I just don't notice since they're normally all one color?
Edit,
Ok, I just checked. Sure enough they are a seperate piece. That's a real good idea. I'm guessing it's so you don't scratch the yellow all to heck, right?

Looks like a lot of work done to that. Nice work. I'm not to keen on a few things, the painted tails, non painted headlight buckets, cowl, etc. Paintjob looks nice.

Looks pretty good.. but I am with everyone when I say loose the painted tails and add some black to he headlight buckets.
Then all will be well with the world.
Good job!

it's probably the one time you'll hear me say it....but paint the headlight pockets black....its needs some more black to break up the yellow....as for the tails....maybe a little overboard on the yellow, but to each their own

Well I know that a few people don't agree with the painted tails but it really stands out and it's something different that i haven't seen, about the headlight pockets, I like them painted the same color of the car because if I did them black it would remind me of a raccoon, but I'm not quite done yet there is going to be something different (secret) in about a month or so...I will post new pics when the car is fully done!

If painted tails are your thing I would paint the grid lines too. A while back a friend had bought an iroc with the tails, rim stripes, and ttop bar painted yellow to match the factory yellow paint. I like liked it, but he didn't.

That is real nice!! How much did that undercoating run you? I am looking to do the same once my suspension is all in so if I had an idea of the $$damage$$ it might help my decision for doing it. I would still have to price places out here though but if you could give me a rough estimate that would be cool. I don't usually go for yellow cars at all but this one is pretty nice. I believe it is the shade of yellow.

Whatever you do "DO NOT UNDERCOAT" if you only drive the car in the summer.

exhaust....
I really like that you used a 4th gen Borla setup on your car.
It is hands down the best performing, sounding, and looking exhaust on the market IMO.
Good job on the car, very clean.

Thanks for the heads up! I still need to research it. With all of these new suspension parts on the car the rest of the undercarriage looks like sh it so I want to do something with it. And about the exhaust, I did not see it at first. I agree, that is one of the better sounding setups out there. Sound mean on an LS1.
