even though ive already told you, i love the car
u gotta come down to Carmel and show me the car sometime...maybe you will have the flowmaster kit by then
do u plan on painting the headlight pockets?
love the wheels
this cant be right though...
is the back supposed to be high?

Anyone want to respond to Dan's post because we have both talked about this a few times before. I'm saying its supposed to look like that and the only reason its looking funny is because the rear end of these cars taper in a little, they get skinnier and go up. I dont know what the problem would be if there was one. The basic suspension has been replaced temporarily with pretty much oem Napa parts which is actually suprisingly good or at least much better than how it was driving.

nice looking car. is it me, or is the left exhaust tip kinda hanging lower than the right one? possibly look into that, and maybe paint a black stripe through the horizontal groove in your taillights..

Looks like the parkin lights are alittle faded, I would get new ones. If its just the pick then dont worry bout it. I would also lower it more, grid tails, the exhaust is actually a sleak look. The tips look too small to me tho. I dont know what to say, words just dont explain this car

Ya I got some basic pipes fabbed up from the muffler shop for now, deleted the cat, and I dont have those tips on the car anymore. I shifted my exhaust up a bit and stuck some duals on there. The reason is because like you said they didnt hold on well at all. The lights are just because of the pic, all the lights are brand new because the thing originally had a berlinetta front end that I had to swap off and I will be getting grids for sure.
Alright I need opinions, whats next in line, steering wheel and shift ****, two 12" subs and amp, one 15" Alumapro and amp, full exhaust kit (I would rather wait till winter though) and if so what should I go with?
Overall I have taken more than 200 photos or more just in case by some way in hell I sell the car in the future. Here are a few - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/756169/1

Nice car but those wheels look like junk. I can help you.
You need some berlinetta wheels. I know what your thinking, " Where can I get the most performance oriented 3rd gen wheel ever offered?" I can help you out there also, I am willing to trade you my berlinetta wheels for yours, dont worry I will pay the shipping.

Alright I got a temp job for the summer so I need some ideas on where to spend any money I get. 1) sub and amp combo, quality, not quantity because I listen to alot of music 2) Steering Wheel and shifter combo 3) Save up and get a good exhaust which I want but think should wait till winter or 4) Whatever you guys can think

I would recommend in the following order
1) Suspension...shocks, springs, sub frame connectors..etc
2)Exhaust
3)Audio
4)Steering wheel/shifter although the stock look will probably look less cheap and cluttered depending on your choices

Well the suspension is rather very clean or new because I spent half my time underneith this car its a shame to spend so much money on something that most people wont see or maybe even notice but maybe. Exhaust I like, nothing like a v8 grumble but I would rather wait till winter seeing as I probably wont be driving it then and wont matter if it cant run plus I may be doing other engine ork then. Audio, well I do love music, Im a teenager in high school, and subs are impressive plus add alot to a system if there quality and not just loud in my opinion. Finally the only complaints I have ever gotten from people I know where on the steering wheel so I thought I would go with a nice, non cheap looking one (no ***** or trashy) hopefully from Grant but most of their stuff looks a little cheap so I dont know.

Well lowering it is a possibility, whats do you think is the best way to do that in your opinions. Im kinda skeptical because Im having to worry about speed bumps as it is.

Ya thats pretty much wont I dont want and this thing is pretty low anyways at least compared to anything I have ever driven in. In my family theres a Ford Excursion, Expedition, Exlporer, Chevy Suburban, Landrover, and thats basically it so this thing took some getting used to.

Um if you havent realized it yet, Camaros are already pretty low especially with the air dam. I sure is hell dont want it so low that I have to worry about it that much. Im just saying its plently low for me especially since Im used to stepping up into cars not stepping down.

Id like to lower mine 1 inch, thats what I think looks good, but if I had a roc or z/28 with ground effects Id probly leave it stock.

Ya I probably wont lower it but in the future I may have fun with the suspension and if I do theres a possibility of lowering it, like 1 inch. I have also delayed the sub idea for a while, at least till september. I would really like to replace the steering wheel of all things but I want to find one that blends in very well with my interior and isnt a pos.
most steering wheels today are made for ric3y hondas..all yellow and blue and skinny -yuck-. maybe u could try to get a classic camaro steering wheel..i wonder how that would look. Or maybe a 4th gen steering wheel will look good...have u found any steering wheels you like? link them here so we can see. good luck

No there are plenty of steering wheels that are not for ricers such as Grant. I also have to decide if I want all black or a little bit of the polished/chrome on the wheel and then shift ****, pedals maybe, etc. My pedals are pretty rough right noww and I was wondering if theres anything I can do other than oem that doesnt look cheesy.

Im glad you guys like the color of the GFX, I got so much crap on this board and others when I thought of doing it. I havent changed anything on it lately but its going to go back into paint sometime within the next 3 months because theres a few chips like were the door edge hit the body and were the front skin meets the body. I got a 97 Landrover Disco also which I just knocked the bumper off, good story so I will have to work on that and a few other things on it. Fun fun fun.

i think the headlight pockets should be the same color as the gfx. i cant tell if it is black, or like a charcoal, but paint the pockets like the gfx.
other than that sweet ride
