How did you get it like that? Im going to buy a Z28 one and I wanna paint it blue like my car and I was wondering how you guys did it. Oh and what color would look good as the bowtie? Im thinking silver. Like blue grille with silver tie. Give me some ideas!

The '92 Z28 with heritage appearance package (RPO Z03) included a body-colored grill. All other Z28's (and IROC-Z's) came with a gloss black grill.

find your paint code for your car and take it to a paint shop, or do it yourself.

are you sure that all of the grilles were gloss black on the z-28? I have an 85 and the grille is more like a flat/satin black.

they are gloss black on the bowtie grilles, and satin on the iroc grilles.

Monkie, I have a bowtie grille, and personally I think it looks cool black. If your car is the "IROC" blue (Medium Mettalic Blue, or is it Quazar Blue on the later models) w/ the mettalic in the blue, red would look good on the bowtie.
