87IROC factory body stipes? go or stay?

Guys, my 87IROC has the factory color of victory red(real awsome deep red). Well it also has the black and gold stripes on it.
Do you guys think i should keep the stripes or peel them off? I think they look a little tacky. Could get a vote of yes or no to take them off?
I haven't uploaded a pic of the car anywhere yet but you can see a copy of my iroc on any camaro site probly... Its a very popular color combo.

I personally like the stripes. If you remove them, you should also remove IROC-Z from the door. I have never liked the monochromatic look. To me, the stripes break it up a little and add a touch of detail.

thanks for everybodies thoughts on this one.
Scott has the same color scheme that i have on my car. I don't know, i like the iroc-z image but i think the stripes are coming off. i don't think it looks too out of balance with just the iroc-z logo
