ok im getting my car painted at the end of the month and i was wondering what you would think would look better white stripes, black stripes or none at all...

Well i love stripes. As you can see my car has stripes http://www.geocities.com/jpetretti/angle.jpg But with those hood louvers I'm not so sure stripes would look good. Id say on your car leave it plain.

 

That is a beautiful car. Pretty close to the same blue as mine. I personally like stripes and have them on mine, although I have a different hood. I have seen hoods like yours with stripes though and they do look good. You can see my stripes at the link in the sig.

I think stripes look sweet on these cars but on mine I am going to paint it a dark metallic blue with silver ground effects. I saw a car, I think Steve Spohn's, like this and it looked cool.

I like black with silver (my colors) but black is the hardest color to do flawlessly and the hardest to maintain.
