Back from paint!

Now I just have a few more things to do. I'm going to change the wheels, I still have to add all the tags which are red on black, and im even going to add a single or double red stripe across the side just above the wheel well to add accent...like the old buick nationals. I'm also putting small grates into the openings on the side of the hood, also red. I'll get around to doing some things here and there also, but this is basically it!

Also, what it looked like before is still in my sig (time to make a new one!)

I did all the prep work then brought it to a local body shop called Extreme Design. They did a great job for cheap!

Some black cross lace wheels on that car would be... oh well.

Just imagining.

Thanks guys, for all the compliments. I'm thinking about what im going to do in red for the rear quarter panels...I need to balance it out. Im thinking about doing a bowtie logo in the area behind the windows...and yes, I DEFINITELY need new wheels!

Here's a better picture of those accents in the hood...they're strips of grates sandblasted and painted red.

The red accents look great but I agree that theres too much red in the hood and not enough at the rear of the car. Heres a thought, paint those hood inserts black with a red verticle stripe in the center. This way there wouldn't be soo much red, yet it will accent and follow the lines of the hood and car.

Looks great and good luck!
