There was a mid to late 80's IROC that was featured in just about every major magazine in the early 90's. It was multi-color I think red/orange and grey. It had a six point cage. and I think it had a Lingenfelter built Vortech Supercharged 406 with a superram, and on the top lid of the superram it had 406 painted on. Don't have much more to go on. I swear I've seen pics of this car on here just dont know the guys name.

You would think that with all the people viewing this thread that sombody might know who I was talking about. I guess maybe this mystery car is just a little to old for the people on this board. Out of sight out of mind.

 

Car was owned by Tom Pannesey (SP?) from Florida. I saw it at a get together in 98, I think he wound up selling it a few years later.

No shots of his full tweed interior that continued the paint theme inside.

I do have a VHS video of his car circling around it, with a clip of it rolling up on the trailer.. A 420 through a 4" exhaust sounds pretty mean. I can send you a copy if you wanted, don't have a way to capture it though.
