Help im about to paint my car, and i want to do a two tone paint job, and im trying to figure out colors, if anybody has any pictures please please post i cant decide

 

the dark red and silver GFX if u have a bird. i always thought those looked good. for a maro i have to say red and black?

 

naa i have a camaro , im was thinking using the body line that runs down the top of the fenders and all the way back to the rear , and i want to do a 2 tone from there , i have seen 1st and 2nd gen cars with it , one color is the top half is gloss black and the bottom half is an orangy color

rule o 3

 

Use a candy blue(maybe red or orange) top half and a silver bottom half and seperate the two with a thin yellow pin stripe. Maybe blue bottom and silver top(keep yellow pin stripe).

 

Did a little painting useing the picture from above. I wonder how the headlight buckets would look painted a slightly darker silver then the actual color of the car like I did.

 

I was working on this last night. It's not perfect but you get the idea.

 

awesome i was going to do the orange and black but i couldnt find any picture, you guys wouldnt happen to have any more pictures or link to those cars and/or the paint codes/colors

 

If you twotone it like that, put the darker color on top, it gives the car a lower look.

you could 2 tone it like the early 4th gens with the top being black and the rest whatever color i seen a picture of a white one done like that awhile ago, i liked it

 

Hello everyone!

I would like to see MORE two-tone ideas with black and orange and also orange and silver! Some of you guys are really talented with the ideas!

 

quick question for some one who has a two tone. Do you just select the color with the largest area for the door jambs? A pic would be really helpfull.

 

A real good paint job will have the jams two tones as well.

 

I am a fan of the classic Black and Silver two tone jobs.

Even tho its a diecast, It is a good example

 

Here's one I did in Photochop.

 

There was a 92 Z-28 in Camaro Performers a couple of issues back that had that paint scheme. That's what got me interested in doing it. I think I'm just gonna go with heritage stripes and paint my louvers to match.

 

Here's how mine looked last weekend but since then the sides have been made a silver and masked to put the design over it...

I especially like the rendering of Kandies car made into a vert.. that looks sweet
