blackouts came in yesterday!

blackouts came in yesterday!

got a free summit hat too

i was wonderin if anyone mounted these differently, the velcro is kinda sketchy and im afraid theyll get stolen or just fall off one day. there is a little thing that has a drill wiht a line throuhg it. i was wondering what people did to get these on. advice?

the drill with the line through it = no drilling required , as far as the velcro yes they can fall off or get stolen , so make sure when you put them on that they're on(iirc they make a snap noise when you push on them) , and take them off when you park if you feel they're at risk

yeah i was tryin to find a way to mount them...takin them on and off is kinda annoying i would think

I never had a problem with people stealing them, but then again I live in a small town. However, I did have one of them fly off while I was driving after they had been on for awhile. I'm not sure why it came off either because I never took them off. I think maybe the velcro got wore out with time.

yeah i live in a small town too...id just be afraid of people takin them. people are sometimes ****** that all

Transmission: 6speed from an unidentified 4th gen. ask me, ill tell you.
after a while, the velco gets very stable. I tried pullin mine off last summer when I was pullin my rear lamps off... It took a big ole tug (and im a big guy) to geth those covers off. The best thing you can do is place the velco so its not easily seen (lamps on). Most people wont even realize its not stock.
