My few pics from the Midwest F-body Meet this weekend.

I got some pics up of our meet this past weekend. I didn't take to many since it was just to blasted hot out (I'm burned to a crisp), but man were there some nice cars there. 74 cars was the last count I heard...

The dyno ran steady for most of the day with the most fun coming from the 97 HP that registered from a turboed 383 LT1 fourth gen... (tires were slipping badly I guess, LOL!)

We had a nice cruise around Des Moines later with 28 cars coming along, which made for some nice pictures in the parking lots we found along the way.

Thanks Josh for such a great meet yet again. I can't wait until the 4th annual meet next year!

Pics from the 04 and 05 meets here.

Well, thirdgenbird, I said I would put up some pictures of your car, and here they are.

I really liked your taste in what you've done to your car, up to this point. And those wheels looked GREAT

We were definately in the minority, as far as Third Gens go, at this show. And even though a very nice GTA took the trophy for our class, I would like to say your car gets my "unofficial" Honorable Mention Very Nice car you have.

And just so others can get the joke about the Lincoln LS, heres a picture of the "intruder"

Leon.

thanks for the complements, i just hope that someday i have a motor like yours to back up its looks. that thing looks and sounds sweet. when you pulled in one of my friends who knows very little about third gens just looked at me with a blank stare and said, "thats not stock". if you could email me those, and any other pics you took at the show that would be great. that pesky cardomain.com tag bothers me.

Leon, you get my vote for best thirdgen at the show. Most anyone can maintain and detail a low mileage clean car (like the very nice 91 GTA that won), but you've built/painted/modified/detailed/maintained your car into something just as neat and clean as it was from the showroom floor, but bettered it with newer technology. I aspire to build something so well exicuted with my thirdgen now.

thirdgenbird: check your e-mail for pics.

Brad, thanks for the vote! Hearing that ,means more to me, than ANY trophy could ever mean.

I think you have a great start at making those wheels look Great!
Can't say that I've ever seen those polished like you're talking about, but I think that more people will go that way, after seeing your finished product.

Having the chance to talk with all you guys, made my day!
And I hope that we might be able to keep in touch, if not in person, at least here on the boards.

Here's some pics I took of your car, Brad. Just thought I'd share with everyone here.

Take care guys!
"Till Later.

Leon.

1tinindian, your car looks great in person, have you always had those tips? I thought you have the rectangular fourth gens last year...

Had a good look at them, I was in the black/tinted/black rimmed '95 TA behind you on the way to the mall. Your car sounds pretty mean.

Thanks alot!!

Those are the same tips I had on last year(97 T/As).

I thought the cruise was great, I love the chance to get out on the road and have some fun like that. Really cool to do it with such a great bunch of guys, too!
