I am awaiting a response from the admins as to if they condone this. I do not assume there to be any problems and have some spare time so I am posting now and hope it will not be removed later.

As some of you will remember for 2004 I took on the project of creating a 12 month calendar that fell apart when no printer was located. I have since located a printer and am anxious to complete this project for a 2006 calendar.

I'll definately be submitting some pics. Now i only have one 'scenic' pic that has been photoshopped to remove the date...i have a few other nice scenic shots, but they have the date in the bottom corner, is that going to be a problem???

EDIT: Also i realized that my pics are only like 1068x7?? so you're gonna have to give me some time to make them as big as you want them, unless that size is do-able.

 

size is possibly doable. you can still submit it and I'll see what I can do. Date is Ok, I have crop, or shop it out.

EDIT: If anyone has any large pics they still want me to consider submit them in the size they are. Let me do the resizing.

i want to see a calendar with all modified cars, i dont wanna see any stock ones , or ones with just like rims . Im talking cars with like rims , diff hoods, spoilers, tint . like kandied , or you 86 bird. no stock looking ones.

I think a mix of both will lead to good sales. I don't think having all stock or all modified would be a good idea.

 

If someone were to photoshop their car into a different location but remain the car intact (given it was tastefully done and of superb quality), would that be a useable picture?

in the mean time. stock and modified will be considered. Its a TGO, NE3G, etc members calendar. not just a third gen calendar.

 

No offense, but you'd really lose marketability if it was modified only. I appreciate the hard work everyone puts into their cars, but stock appearance is very hard to keep these days also. I submitted 2500x2500 pics of my car, my wifes 93 and my dad's 82 Pace Cars to camarosource for his calenders and only modified cars were chosen. I personally appreciate both stock and modified so I would love to see both done equally.

Everyone raves about the 1st gen cars also. Most Camaro only calenders featuring 12 pictures will have 1 3rd gen, 6 1st gen, 2 2nd gen and 3 4th gen.

Well for this calender, i think it was going to be strictly third gens...but as far as that goes...it should definately be split between modified and stock cars.

One feature that i think would be cool to feature in the calender, is like info on the car and owner. Perhaps list the vehicles specs and or mods, and alittle about it and how it came to be. Just a thought...
