if you get it done by a reputable shop, it should never bubble or change color. If it does then it should be covered by a lifetime waranty. Make sure you ask them about the waranty first.

I would guess it because there is heat coming from the electrical wires running through the window. I solved that problem by using a piece of tinted plexy glass that is the shape of my rear window. It just snaps in.

I believe your somewhat right, When the place tints your glass they take some water (or some simmilar liquid) and use it as a "glue" to keep it on the window.. now what happenes when you add heat to water? it boils correct? thats what i believe causes the bubbles.. and sorry if i came off rude with this statement.

Now i got another silly question...

I know where the defroster button in my car is..its under the Lighter, but is that the rear defroster or do i have a front defroster?? IF it is the rear defroster ive never used it for some reason. So if i dont use it then i wouldnt even have to worry about waht the tint will do it.

its for the rear defroster.. the only frount defroster that these cars have is when you put the heater on the "Defroster" part. were all the air comes up out of the top of the dash.

I was told I should turn my rear defroster on after I got the windows tinted, The shop said it would help it dry faster. I have had no problems. I had boath my camaros tinted at the same shop.

I have had the RS tinted for over a year and I use the rear defroster all the time, even in the summer, early in the morning.

My RS had tint on the defroster for 3 years and it never bubbled a bit. The defroster was used frequently during the winter months. Keep in mind when taking your car to the tint shop, some of the defroster lines may be broken when it is tinted and they will no longer work. My tint guy warned me beforehand that it may happen.

Putting it on the outside would be a bad idea since it's just a matter of time until the outside elements rip it off.

I have a question. Is 3M still a good brand of tint? What are some other good brands?
