I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ALMOST. WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF OUR 5TH MAJOR SNOW STORM AND IT'S NOT EVEN JAN 1. I HAVE A COVER ON MY CAR SO AFTER EVERY STORM I CLEAN THE SNOW OFF THE COVER. LAST WEEK WHEN I PULLED THE COVER, MY SS LOOKED LIKE IT WAS AUG. SO I FIRED HER UP AND CRUISED ALL DAY. DAMN IT FELT REAL GOOD. EVEN THO I HAVE A 2000 BLAZER THAT 1 DAY OF CRUSING WAS MORE FUN THAN RIDING HIGH AND FAST THRU THE SNOW IN THE 4X4. I SAY YOU DIG THAT BIRD OUT AND GIVE IT ONE GOOD SPIN AROUND THE BLOCK. I KNOW MY SS LOVED IT. GOTTA GO PUT THE COVER BACK ON NOW, WE GOT MORE SNOW COMING ON NEW YEARS DAY. HURRY UP MAY SO I CAN TAKE THE TOPS OFF.

Tell me about the Dallas driving, I was in The Colony this weekend. FIRST time driving in snow and ice, got sideways a couple of times, but remembered to steer in the direction of the skid...so i was kool. I did slide through a stop sign tho.

NO OFFENSE BUT YOU SOUTHERN GUYS ARE FUNNY. THAT IS NOT A LOT OF SNOW. WE GOT THAT MUCH SNOW BEFORE THANKSGIVING IN OUR FIRST BLIZZARD. WE HAVE HAD 4 TRUE BLIZZARDS AND A COUPLE OF OTHER DUSTINGS. CAMAROS, FIREBIRDS, VETTES & MUSTANGS(BOO, HISS) UP HERE GO IN HIBERNATION UNTIL MARCH. I TOOK MINE FOR A SPIN THE OTHER DAY BUT I GOT TO BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THE SALT THEY USE ON THE ROADS WILL EAT CHROME WHEELS LIKE IT'S JELLO IN YOUR MOUTH. MOST PEOPLE THAT TRY TO DRIVE A MUSCLE CAR IN THE SNOW AND ICE WRECK THEM. IT'S THE BEST TIME TO GO TO THE JUNK YARD. EVEN SAW A '99 CAMARO BEING BROUGHT IN THE JUNK YARD THE OTHER DAY. IT HAD SLID ON ICE AND WRAPPED A POLE. STAY WARM YOU SOUTHERNERS.

I love it, this is the first time that I can make a post out of experience. I'm from Wyoming (yes its in the US) we can up to 6 feet of snow. They have to salt the roads so much here, when the roads dry off, they are literally white. I'll have to get a pic of it next time they dry off to show you all, quite a sight.

My car is in the garage finally, i cleaned it out right before the snow hit here to make room for it. I have bad f-body withdrawl right now, but my dad's 4x4 91 F*** Explorer is a lot of fun in those un-plowed parks and parking lots that have like 6 inches of snow on them still.

Wow, can I relate to this topic We have gottin alot of snow.. and then it drifted on top of that. To the point it /completely/ barried my Dad's 77 Camaro parts car! I should have took a picture of it when all you could see was a small (like 3x3 inch square) bit of the rear window and roof.

I also have to agree with Fastcamaro87... f-bodies can be driven in the winter with no troubles.. aslong as you don't do anything stupid. My Dads 77 camaro has been daily driven sence it was new.. and I have been driving a Camaro (of one generation or another) daily for the past 5 years.. with hardly a problem and I tell you there is nothing like the feeling of blowing through 1 to 2 foot high snow drifts with your Camaro because the plows have not come down your road yet and you need to get home

I AM STILL IN HIGHSCHOOL, SO MY OPTIONS ARE PRETTY MUCH LIMITED AS TO WHAT I CAN DRIVE IN THE WINTER. MY 2.8L HO V6 CAMARO KICKS *** IN THE SNOW THOUGH. I PUT STUDDED SNOW TIRES ON THE REAR AND ALL SEASONS ON THE FRONT, AND THE THING IN UNSTOPPABLE. MY GOOD FRIEND HAS A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE TAURUS, AND I CAN NOT ONLY BLOW HIS DOORS OFF ON THE DRY ROAD, BUT WHEN IT SNOWS I HAVE MORE TRACTION AND STABILITY. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T FLOOR IT, THANX TO THE FACT MY LITTLE V6 ISN'T TOO OVERPOWERED, IT WILL GRIP THE SNOW AND GO ALONG NICELY. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT WHEN MAKING U-TURNS AND TURRING AROUND IN EMPTY PARKING LOTS, A LITTLE PUSH OF THE ACCELERATOR GOES A LONG WAY IN CUTTING DOWN ON YOUR TURNING RADIUS, GOTTA LOVE REAR WHEEL DRIVE BOTTOM LINE IS, IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IT, AND HAVE THE RIGHT TIRES ON, IT IS A DEPENDIBLE CAR IN THE WEATHER, JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE OFF THE STOCK TRIM RINGS SO YOU DON'T LOSE THEM (CLOSE CALL, BUT FELL OFF AT THE BOTTOM OF MY DRIVEWAY LUCKILY)
