im looking to see side stripes/subtle graphics on Birds

kind of along the lines of the camaro signiture stripe anyone have any good pics of nice stripes on birds or post your photoshops or ideas.

id like to ghost something into my upcoming paintjob ..a nice stripe or something along those lines so i need ideas and visuals

more along the lines of down the sides of the car not racing stripes up the hood and over the middle

 

IDK of ever seeing any with stripes down the side but i love, i think it steve's?, single white stripe going down his car. It looks like the corvette 25th anniv. stripe kinda. If i ever put one on my car, it'd look like his.

i'd like to see this stripe on third gen

 

not a bird. but a third gen. looks like the front blinker gets in the way. wouldnt have thought of that.

 

ehh no i must have them mixed up, i dont know much about vettes. I think they came blue with a a single fat white stripe down the middle. and black rims i think.

And i dont think it would look good on just a bird with no GFX. It'd have to be a t/a or gta.

 

Your referring to the grand sport corvette. I think they were made in 1996, but i could be wrong.

Steve 383 (i think thats his username) has a red trans am with a big white grand sport type stripe going down the center. You should check out his.

exactly like that 427 camaro stripe and the same stripe on the third gen camaro

not little thin tiny stripes but nice visible stripes that have a cool design or wording in them like the SALEEN stripe or def that old camaro stripe

i just wanted to see if anyone has done or come up with some ideas of a good sig stripe for birds

i know on the fourth gens there is the feather striping that looks pretty sweet

i just want to see if anyone has any cool ideas or pics

i honestly dont want to give out my plans for my paint in fear of it being copied and done before me but lets put it this way they guy who im buying it from told me its never been done before

 

yep thats it. IDK if i'd do the side stripes over the fender like that tho, it'd look too much like a vette.

here's me playing with microsoft paint. I think it will look good but the front blinker is a problem. That's where you would put your cubic inches number at. I think it would look good to put that over your blinker.

 

i am pretty sure ill be shaving everything but the door handles...side markers on both ends and the door lock so that rendering is pretty good

the only thing is that is a camaro thing and i dont want to rip it off onto my bird if you know what im saying...thats why i was thinking of some ideas of a Bird Signiture stripe

Hmm.. that car looks familier. Steves car has the best looking stripe. I'm not a big fan of stripes on the sides, but the judge type stripes might look good. I'm a big fan of KARR too. I would build it before KITT.

 

Well I'd say if you were gonna use a first gen hockey stripe, do it old school and stop it on the door, rather than continue it on to the rear quarters. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with any first gen firebird stripes, but check it out, if there are any that would be unique to see it on a third gen.
