the body kit is called tigershark built by wheel 2 wheel here in michigan as a prototype gm design on what was to be a possible upgrade to the oldschool style. made several years ago, still sold today though. that car you see is actually the x box car featured in 2 fast 2 furious.. guess he got tired of the gaudy stickers.

Sweet color.. But I really love the wheels on that vette! I have C5 wheels and now wish I have those I like the lip and the kinda curved spokes.. They are so expensive wow.. Defintely can't justify that cost unless the car is garaged and away from the elements

 

looks like som.. and that has been overdone lately and i guess the red has too i like the rootbeer candy its kinda the diffrence of the two.

tangerine is such an awesome color...i think it sticks out the most at car shows and what not. Its beautiful and i say go for it...

If i was ever to make a pure show car not daily driver id do tangerine.

No questions, that color is the hottest one out there, i am planning on doing a 91-92 vert in a few years and that is the color, dont have the car yet but the color has been picked....DO IT

are not that bad priced at all.

 

i can understand your point and it's a big one. unfortunately as you know with candy colors pictures do nothing to show how nice they look and candy tangerine much like any candy color doesn't look anything like a basic 3 stage metallic. even though oddly enough i guess it's the same thing. put the two side by side though and it's like comparing basic metallic blue to candy blue.

 

great color, too bright for a square car though. maybe on a the more rounded version of the thirdgen firebird. definately looks nice on the 4thgens and corvettes or when used in small amounts like bikes. nice and loud but i'm not sure on a square thirdgen camaro. either way i like it too as it looks great on that custom!

 

are you talking about the tangelo or the candy tangerine. the candy isn't the same as it's just like the red in that it's somewhat tame unless the sun hits it which is why i love candy colors so much. now the tangelo, that's a bright color..

 

I think it would work well..

during the day it be a 'moderate' orange unless its getting hit by the sun...

during dawn/dusk it'd look more like the old stock sunburnt orange..

you may even fool a few people by telling them its a stock colour!

 

I say you pick .... the color you like the best! Seriously though, I know you probably have an idea of theme behind the car's you build, just keep following that dream ....

seriously though, it looks good with most shades of metallic/candy orange... just dont go too bright on it, and remember the flat sides of the car dont curve enough to get that colorchange depth... athough im sure you've studied that more then i have... lol.

 

Tangerine is the color I've had planned on doing my IROC in when I get the time/money/space for a complete rebuild.

 

We're going to have a little gang of tangerine third gens. And that's f*ckin' cool!

Sometimes i wish that i painted my car some sort of bright tangerine or HOK Tangelo orange with maybe gold pearl ghost flames.

But back then i had never seen it in person, and not knowing my car would come this far... made me paint it straight red w/ flames.

 

i painted mine red because the factory car was dark metallic red. i hear you.... things change though overtime. i never planned doing any of the things i have but the paint.

 

im a really big fan...so which car would be this colour your red one or the new one your doing?

Tangelo was the color I initially wanted too, but I think the Tangerine would compliment the thirdgen camaro's shape better.

I went and researched it you did sell it but you bought it back. Never knew you bought it back.

 

yeah the guy i sold it to had plans for a father/son build. wanted a good clean chassis so we worked out stripping the high dollar things that i wanted to rebuy for my project anyhow. his son later thought that it wasn't cool enough and so i bought it back for a lesser price. couldn't pass it up. with the lesser amount i did the drivetrain conversion and now i have two full drivers. 5 total though as i have 3 parts cars. trying to find a convertible to build though.

 

is there a such thing as a candy white lol
