Pics of my 3rd Gen SLP ZR1 wheels
Hey guys just got these baby's today. They are the SLP ZR1 style wheels for 3rd gens in hyperblack. Put them on my 88SC and think they great.
Now time to get rid of the rest of the gold and go all black.
Tell me what you think.

that looks sweet. ive always liked the slp zr1's better than the regular zr1's on thirdgens because they are a little more square... are they really black though they look siver in the pics.

thanks guys on the compliments. not sure why they call them hyperblack its more like a gunmetal silver color but they look badass none the less. I bought some grid tailights off ebay but they came and some pieces were busted off the corners during shipping.
I think new turn signals are the next mod.

Absolutely- do NOT paint over the gold. My favorite color combo for sure- unless I like the dark blue over silver better. Hmmmm.
Ugh with the double posts. When am I going to remember I CAN'T hit the back buttom after replying???

yeah, car looks great. I just really REALLY wish they made them wider.. oh well.
oh, and I'm also with the "don't paint over the gold" camp... the car looks good, and a little more unique that way.. plus, is that the original paint?

those are beautiful wheels.
makes me have second thoughts about selling the GTA's and going with the slp ZR1's.
Very nice. IMO i say keep the gold. It gives it an original look but only you can decide what to do with your car.

Looks awesome...
I am also a big fan of the black and gold cars, especially if they are still in nice shape! I'd keep the gold.....
