the only downfall is that its $165 and I have to have a front liscnece plate. Ive already gotten a ticket for it.

That actually looks pretty darn sweet! 165 is pretty steep, but I think they are the only ones that sell it. As for the front plate I think you can fabricate a way to run a front plate and that grill.

That grille is sweet.I've been wanting to get one,but haven't got around to it yet.I want to find someone who can make a mini one just like that to put in place of my SS hood screen once I get the billet grille put on.
I think it looks really nice, and even if you had a plate on the front,it would still look a lot better than the factory grille.

I wonder what the chances are of the stock fogs fitting behind that grill?

Hey Jim,

Thats not fair, thats what I wanted to do when i get it. I think it will look really good but I dont want to have a liscence plate covering it up.

I think I might have the answer to your license plate problems. My friend owns a rustang and didn't want the front license plate bracket on the front, so he mounted it on the black plasic thing underneith the front bumper. I think the camero's and the ta's have different black plastic peices on the bottom. Just mount your license plate on that. I think that it would be noticable enough, hope it helps.

Well I have a GTA and I didnt want to use the crappy liscence plate bracket from GM. And I switched over to the 91 nose so i didnt want to spend any money on that piece of crap plastic one. So I was looking in the SLP catalog and I found something to work. It is for their 98 and up "SS" grille. It mounts underneath the bumper and curves up. I only had to put 2 small holes in the underside of the bumper. Looks better than the factory one too.

how makes that billet grille? is it Trenz??
trenz makes the best billet grilles out there if your looking for quality and durability, and if they dont carry one for your particular application, they'll make a one-off for only slightly higher than the regular prices

Damn, that looks sweet. Now that I saw that pic, I might do that instead of the 91/92 Z grill. The price is the only downfall though. I gotta get her repainted first. I could see it now: nice shiny billet grill w/ my faded a$$ hood, LOL.

Normally I hate crap like that but that actually looks pretty good.It would probably look better if it were body color.
