Wow.
Ultra-clean. That's one heck of a mill. Great attention to detail. I'll file it away with the other "motivational pics" for my 383 build (L98). Good job!

well dont i feel like an ***, oh well...Thought you was going to build your own heads, any ways very very nice engine
The "before" setup was $1500. I payed a little extra to ensure I had a good block and all the $hit that went w/ it...at least, for the little parts that I'm gonna reuse

I want to make my lt1 look that decent where did you get the little chrome peice that says lt1? also your chrome pullies? did you do all the polishing?
Everything is Polished, not chrome. Yes, I did all the polishing. The front pieces and waterpump cover were from MBA, but they aren't in business anymore.
Thanks for the props...

polished?? make sure you zoopseal everything. I was watching a show on speed channel where this one guy have a '32 ford and he had everything under the hood polished, even the block itself. he said it was the worst mistake he'd ever made because he had to crawl under the hood once a month and rebuff and bring out the luster in everything again.. until he found zoop seal.

um did you have your alternater bracket powder coated? because if you did you will have problems with the alternater charging the battery. because the alternater cant ground itself.

Is the intake powdercoated or painted? Either way wetsand and buff the flat pad in the top front. It will get rid of the little orange peel.
Looks awesome besides that. Thats gona be one sweet ride. I use to be a Camaro nut untill I got my TA now I really love em both.(see sig)

Thanks for the props guys!!
TPl383: I didn't want to match the "non-orange peel" front of the intake w/ the "smooth" face that I finished. It's suppose to be the same as the casting on the rest of the intake. The "flat" part is somewhat distinguished as a different piece, seperated from the rest, by the fuel rail crossover pipe. That's why I don't want it to match
