have you seen this hood before?

I saw this at a car show over the weekend and I'm looking to see if it's actually something I can buy somewhere. I suspect it was done custom, but I'm hoping that's not the case.

It's pretty similar to a glasstek cowl hood (which is what i used for the source of the photoshop), but with one major difference - the cowl is trapezoid shaped and it follows the lines of the hood as shown in my crude photoshop. A standard glasstek just has a straight rectangular cowl.

I don't know if it had such a distinct raised line up the center of the hood, but it definitely had the rear overhang. It was made of fiberglass, and the bottom was all open. The cowl height was about 2-3" and wasn't a gentle slope upward, it was full height from a few inches back from the start of the cowl.

If anyone has any information on this hood, let me know.

that hood looks like this one:

http://www.johnmillerfiberglass.com/

and that's not the one i saw no.

I'm currently thinking it was possibly this one:

this is from http://www.championfiberglassproducts.com/chevy.html

Also the current 3" harwood seems to have the same effect as well.

It looks like your standard cowl induction hood. Hard to distinguish it from the top like that...
