Looks good. Needs some things to spice it out though. Get some Iroc Z decals. Tint the windows all the way around ( 15 percent should do) Also its needs a paint job. Looks like its peeling and needs one. Dont get me wrong its a good looking ride. But need some of those things. Also i recommend some factory exhaust tips that hang down. I like those better and wish my magnaflows have those tips. Needs some side mouldings (looks naked) Like i said its JMO.
Also that thing would look sick with a hawks 5 inch spoiler
If i had a IROC Z, that would be my first thing to do!

the car never had iroc stockers on it when i bought it and i like it that way. and i took the side moldings off becuase they were faded and cracked and i like the clean (or "naked") look.
i do agree about the exhaust though and when i drop in my 383 im gonna run true duals that dump like the stock exhaust did. except in 3"

I had my side mouldings off my 91 Z for awhile. I didnt like them much. So i put them back on. Is your 383 gonna be TPI or a Carb?

Jgolden314 is right, there's supposed to be a third tailight on top of the hatch. Either that's an 85, or someone changed out the hatch for 82-85 or 87-90. But yeah, other than that, looks like a good project car to me. Good luck, and have fun with it.

wow i didnt even notice that
All the 86 irocs had the 3rd brake like outside the top of the hatch. This was the 1st yr for 3rd brake lights. Even my 86 corvette has one. Which i actually like the vette ones. But whats up that?

i removed the third brakelight cause it was cracked and oxidised and it was ugly. i thought it would look cleaner. also getting the glue from the side mouldings off the passenger side was easy but the driver side is a bitch and its still on. but the car will be repainted eventually.
