Good day ladies and gentlemen, I've been meaning to start a post here for a while about some of the newer Meguiar's products. They're all of very high quality and leave my new paint job swirl free (except for a few cases, but those were my fault).

First off is the Meguiar's Microfiber Super Suede Drying Towel. This thing is awesome, it soaks up all the water and doesn't leave any spots! And best of all, you don't need to drag it across the car so you don't have to worry about scratching. Just dab up all the water.

Next are the Even Coat Applicators. These little towel sponge things put on several coats of Zaino and not a single scratch was found. There are no seams and it's microfiber, so they are very safe for a good paint job.

Finally, the Supreme Shine Microfiber towels. They're these yellow microfiber towels that I've used over and over for removing wax, and applying instant detailer, and yet again, not a swirl to be found. (I cut the edges off, just to be safe, and they held together extremely well).

Well that's all I have for now, just thought I'd let you all in on a few good tools.

Im sponsored by them, this is true, but i do believe that. I believe that their stuff is better then zaino too..but thats only my opinion

I love their stuff too, especially the Professional and Detailer lines. There's a shop not too far from me that sells the full line of Meg's Pro stuff!! I had the good fortune of attending a Meguiar's detail clinic a couple months ago and learned a lot, plus Barry Meguiar himself even stopped in - that was cool.

I wouldn't go as far as to say its better than Zaino, but I do like the NXT line of products so far.

Well, they do have some good stuff (vinyl protectant on the dash cover for one), but an Absorber and a couple old bath towels will do the job nicely. And that McGuiar (McGuire?) guy on the TV car show is obnoxious as hell.

I like the meguires professional stuff, but around here it's hard to find. Most places just carry their more generic crap, which I don't consider to be very impressive.

The results that I've gotten with their professional swirl remover and orbital polisher, followed by glaze with the orbital polisher, then a couple coats of Zaino 2 is very impressive.

I think your results have more to do with the Zaino than the Meguiar's products you're using to apply the Zaino.

Speaking of Meguiars, can the NXT be layered? I see 50% of people say yes, and 50% say no.

Meguiars is without a doubt my favorite brand for ANYTHING car cleaning related. Except for interior.. I have some weird stuff the body shop across the street gets for my leather, and I use eagle 1 20/20 on the plastics.

Not really. The zaino basically helped preserve the appearance that the swirl remover and machine glaze.

The finish polish doesn't matter nearly as much as how good you get the paint to look before you apply it. Getting that foot-deep wet finish requires perfect, swirl free, mark free paint that's been wetsanded, buffed, and polished to perfection before your zaino/carnuba/whatever finish polish ever touches it.
