Hello!
I am in the process of having my car painted (taking over 9 months just for paint.....long ridiculous story)... and this is most likely very close to how it's going to look. I'm just wondering the census is that it's going to be looking pretty kewl or what.....
Keep in mind that this was a photoshop done from a picture (on the photoshopping section) so it's missing things like shadowing/pinstriping or whatever.......

I picked Liked It.
I love that color on the black, really stands out. And the sides of the cowl is a good place to pick it up too.
I disagree with the top of the fender like that though, I would skip that if it was my car.
Overall, if your car looks even close to that after paint, it will look shweet

OH and actually the hood would most likely be done like this but I haven't been able to find someone to do photoshop this on a hood for me yet.

the hood_ on the cowl, instead of a complete orange sidewall on the cowl, try a black cowl with orange flames, this would look great with the black flames on the side of the car...'
ground effects_ on the front lip, try photochopping the front lip orange, JUST the front lip, not a flame or anythying just the entire front lip orange
Side skirts_ same as ground effects but black
rear bumper/clip_ same as side skirts (black)...all the inversed paint will look VERY nice...
try to photoshop these and see what you think...in my head it looks awesome i wish i was good at photoshop...

That does sound cool- now I just need someone that can photoshop that to read this thread and give it a try! LOL I can do quite a bit on Photoshop but not this sort of thing unfortunately.
Also- my idea for the edges of the flames is a goldish pinstripe with a silver airbrush edge under that as a shadow. :-)

this might be another cool idea. might be overkill, but i think it would be cool...
on the doors_ what if you had a black bowtie with "Chevrolet" in black painted at the bottom of the doors, right in front of the rear wheels...like the bottom corner of the doors...maybe a 3"x12" decal...it would look cool on the orange door...?

That could be really cool but I really wanted to be sure the word IROC-Z was on the door so there was no doubt of what kind of car it is. :-)

looks like sex! you gonna try to see what it looks like with the colored clips too?!?!
i do not like it only from a design aspect that the actual graphics don't flow well with each other. a very uneven mix and flow to them. however i do like the color choices though. without seeing the final product it's hard to say, your on the right track. hopefully the artist will make the design flow better.

Not for me personally, but I think it looks neat. Just a few things:
1.) I'm not a fan of the 3" cowl, but if you keep it, I wouldn't put any orange on it.
2.) I like the other photoshop with the "IROC-Z" lettering in black on the door.
3.) Maybe it's just the photoshop, but I think it would look better being more pointed at the end of the flames.

Just being honest, but it doesn't really do anything for me.
I like orange on camaro's when it's done right, but those lines just don't feel like the flow really well with eachother. Also kinda seems like there's WAY too much going on with those fenders.
Kinda hard to tell though... its just a photoshop...

personally, if you can pull off anything close to your photoshops it will look awsome. I love the black/orange combo

I am not a fan of orange & black cars, 4 inch cowls, or any kind of flames, but i think that deisn looks great. Usually flames are too corny (IMO) and look stupid, your design however looks very nice. I'm interested to see how it will turn out...

As for the cowl issue- that's not actually my car that was used in the photoshopping- I've got a 2 1/2 inch Cervini that will be going on. I don't personally like the larger cowls either unless someone was doing some serious SERIOUS racing and had one helluva engine under that big hood.....
Also - as for the designing and point on flames- there will definitely be points on the flames- the guy that did that just did a quicky design.
I'm going to post a few pics of more like what it would look like in the end.....
This is the colors....except I wanted tribal flames/flames that looked devil tail'ish....
Image removed- Please read the rules. Thanks

And by the way- if anyone can come up with another similar design I would love to see it! This has been a LOOOOOOONG process getting the design right and so the car is just waiting to be finished. I have ideas in my head but I can't draw anything other than schnauzers so that doesn't do my car any good LOL!
I did post on the Photoshop board but didn't get any responses. I know those guys get sick of doing stuff for everyone but whoever helps should know I will be forever greatful. :-)

I did the photoshop, and all I did was select the graphics from the drawing and paste them on the car. I was quick. The graphics ended up looking a little distorted, but it was just to see the idea.
I think it would look sweet done for real. It would look far better than my crappy photoshop.
