HELP... easy ways to hold down fiberglass cowl hood

HELP... easy ways to hold down fiberglass cowl hood

hi everyone i have a 1991 camaro rs black with silver rally stripes i have recently bought a 4 inch cowl induction hood from jegs pin on i have it on the car i used moroso hood deck pins with lanyard straps but the center part of the hood in front lifted up and i have a 1 finger gap between hood and front nose whats the easiest way to fix this with out making it look stupid... oh it has 4 pins 2 front and 2 back
plzzz help....

Axle/Gears: 3.42
Put the factory latch back on if you removed it. That will help keep the center down. If it's still too high, then you will need to move the mounted latch down to bring the hood down.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, if you cannot use your old factory mount, your adding more pins.

guys i removed the hood latch because the hood is a harwood pin on an is about 2 to 3 inch thick but the only part still up is the front nose between the headlights.... finger lenght it sucks... any other help will be greatly appreciated thanks to those who all posted

does it have like an inch of a lip all the way around?? cuz mine did and the first thing i did was trim it.. if not then i dunno... sorry.. pics would help though

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73
If it is a Harwood, more than likely it is the hood. I have a Harwood cowl on my Formula and it has a bit of a gap on the front, but everywhere else it fits like stock.
