Ok, here it is. I have a 91' Z28 (350) that is flame red. I want to get bumper to bumper stripes put on (like the Dodge Viper GTS) but I am split between what color to make them. Its either gonna be white or black. What do you all think. Also, anyone that has bumper to bumper stripes, could you post some pics of your car.

Hmm. That's a hard one for me.I think either one would look cool.I guess I would have to see one of each first and decide from there.But if I had to pick,I would probably choose the red over white.

racing stripes on a red car looks kinda lame if you ask me.. but white definately looks terrible.. go with black if you go with anything

Hmm...let's see get two clear stripes, in other words don't get em. I have an 89 iroc that's black w/gold stripes. The car's had the stripes for about two years and I wish I hadn't put them on. I'm sick of it looking like every ***** around town. There's just too many poop-can shooter cars with stripes and it's becoming very unoriginal. Maybe it's where I live. Just my opinion.

I have to go with the people who say that red isn't condusive to striping. I have a Black 91 Z and I just like the body style and I honestly don't think the car needs anything like stripes to enhance it's appearance. If you were asking about tinting the windows or the lights that would be cool but I would leave the body alone.

I know a dude wih a 4th gen camaro. Candy apple red with white GT stripes like your talking about....looks horrible. has P U SS Y written all over his car now.

Personally, I don't care for stripes on third gens. But, if I had to pick white or black I'd go w/black.

White strips on red car look cool. Just an opinion though.

Whatever you do, don't put two big yellow stipes on, a thirdgen camaro had that done around here, boy it sure does suck.

 

I saw a paint article in a magazine and there was a 4th gen, red with white stripes, it looked awesome.

 

Whiute stripes on red look terrible but black looks extremly nice man
