i ahve a 88 formula bird. i saw a set on a site that i really liked they were eagle rims 5 star chorme for a real good price but they said for a 93 plus f body. the size was 16x8 and 5x4.75 is that to much or not enough back spacing? let me know i would love to get these rims if they would work. thanks

I think they will. I asked the same question a while back, and i was told that the newer f-body rims will fit on third gen's. The only thing is that I think you need some type of spacers for the rear wheels. Im not exactly sure, I havent done this yet, but I was told that you can put 4th gen rims on your 3rd gen. I also heard of somebody who put rims from the newer vette's on their third gen.

 

jsut what i thought no spacers for me that sucks ..
