What should i do.

Buy a hood new seats, and tint windows, or buy an 86 iroc running in good condition, and use my rs v6 for parts for it.

damn, when I talked to you earlier about it, I was unaware that your RS was a 6....thought it had a 305, thats why I suggested to work on that. You already know that you will want a bigger engine...sure there's several routes, but if the 350 in the roc is good, there's plenty you can do, and it seems like you'd backtrack alot by starting to mod the RS and then dive into engine swap later down the road.....if the roc has a clean, straight body, and the only real difference in quality is the engine...hit the roc up.......what color is it?

I should add, if you can pick up a good condition IROC for what it would cost you to do a hood, seats, and tint...it's more than worth it

pretty easy to tell an 86 by the 3rd eye on the hatch....assuming the hatch wasnt replaced.....so just as a rough estimate (dont know what seats you're looking to get) you could nab this roc for well under 2k.....sounds like a fair deal if it's in good shape and runs well...how many miles are on it?

I would say the IROC is the best choice. I just know that if its in ok condition, you wont be dissapointed.

Buy the iroc then sell the rs to buy the seats, tint, and hood for the iroc.

Buy the Iroc, trust me. I got mine for $850 as she sits and I have already been offered $6500 and I will not sell. I have already began collecting parts and pieces for a total interior change this summer and I am happy

Stupid question: Speed > Beauty. Get the IROC, sell that 6.

Some great advice from people who know. Think about this in the next 5 to 10 years and you will be happy you did when someone want to buy your car for big bux's
