Tail lights

So is there anyway to take these damn things off? Are they actual covers or part of the lights?

they are the lights. take of the pannel on the inside of the hatch. There are wing nut type things that hold them on.

I'm talking about the cover things on top of the lights... And for the record, I'm a girl, not a guy.

Nope you can't take them off. You have the smoked version from the early Trans Ams. If you pry off the smoked lens there is plastic behind there, but it won't look pretty. What is wrong with them? Did you want a newer style light or what's wrong? Also you could sell your set to the KR guys.

I see you're from Fresno, I just drove by there this weekend on my way to San Francisco, but I'm from L.A. I have an early bird that looks pretty much like yours nice car. =)

I'll have my standard '91 taillights for sale soon (cheap!).

If you are in Fresno, the shipping would be minimal if you want them. Drop me a PM.

Thats what i meant that the plastic grid thing is attached to the light and to get the light out you have to take the wing nuts off that hold them in, and yes you have to buy a different set if you don't like that look.
