front end? which RS or Z28 grille

ok i have a 1990 IROC and i am repainting it over spring break and i am getting a new grill i dont like the original one. i was wondering which grill to get. i like the Z28 but i dont have fog lights. and i dont plan on getting any. i like the RS because it covers the foglight holes but i run ram air and it will block that but i can alter that. adn if ran the RS should i repaint it red to match my car or leave it black (painted the plastic is too dull) please help. and any pics of cars will help also.
i kinda thought of that billet grille but i dont plan on changing rims so i dont think billet will look good.
any ideas will help. thanks.

I have a 92 Z28 grille on my 89 RS w/no fog lights. Looks fine.

Also, when you get it painted, I hope you decide to leave the bra off.

While you're at it, you might want to consider whether or not you want them to paint the headlight buckets satin black. Looks good on some cars, not so good on others.

You can easily install aftermarket foglights,I would go with a "camaro" grill off an 85-90 IROCZ,i had the louvered one on my 88 RS and just got tired off them.

well i just found a fog light at the junkyard today.. and if i can find another one i will go with the Z28 one..it looks cleaner. and i hate the bra. i had it on there because the guy before me never painted the front right. after his gravel road experience. i hate bras, On cars that is, i would never put one on a car that has nice paint.

I love the Z28 grill. My IROC has it but no headlights. Most people who see the holes there think I have a ram air setup. I like the look of the Z's grill without the foglights - a nice, clean, uncluttered front end. I'm thinking about fabbing a homemade ram air setup soon and blocking the holes off with black mesh. Some people might think that's a bit ***** but I think it'll look kinda different from everybody else.
