New rims for just $4.00?!

Well I gave my baby a car wash yesterday and decided to try out those microfiber towels when I was washing and scrubbing her. WOW! Those things are incredible at cleaning. I spent 2 hours with those little towels on all 4 of my rims. Holy crap! I didn't know the stock rims could look so good and clean! I never knew how much dirt and brake dust was on those things. Some pics:

Before Dirty

After Clean!

And my baby all clean!

I know these pics are kinda crappy. Thats all thanks to my crappy camera. 1.X Megapixel. Bah. But basicly the point of this post was that I spent $4.00 on some microfiber towels and feel like I've bought a new set of rims. Truly satisfying when you just put forth a little effort.

Doc

mmm microfiber towels....best there is. I usually get some and use them for the paint a few times, then they get downgraded to rim towels.....and then eventually mess rags lol

try a mothers powerball and some polish, you will spend 5 minutes per rim and be done!

Nice car!

I know this is probably a stupid? But can I get the same results on 85 Iroc rims with this product, or should I attempt to polish them?

Well the pics don't do it justice because in person they were pretty damn dirty, and they look even cleaner in person too. But I'm happy!

Good looking wheels! I always use microfiber towels for cleaning, they do an awesome job. They work very well on the plastic interior pieces because they do not leave any fuzz.
