Painted T/A hood vents...and some pics

Previous owner had the car painted 5 yrs ago......crap job to sum it up....it shines nice...but the paint bubbled in ALOT of places....and you can see it up close on top of that the hood vents were completly peeling so I painted them black and did the actual grill portions in "chrome in a can"......pretty straight foward job, couple coats of black followed by clear.....I like the outcome....gotten many compliments.....itll hold over until I paint the whole car again this year sometime.

Also notice.....brand new Hankook Ventus tires.....FREAKIN AWSOME...car drives crazy good now......and also I redid the rims with the help from instructions on this board (thanks to all who did it before)....so they are nice and shiney and the black isnt all crappy either.

Oh yea....dont mind the one camaro cap lol

haha..just put new shocks/springs on....so a drop will be quite some time down the line.....actually I think im one of the few who like the stock spring height of these...my main problem is the exhaust though....previous owner did a custom exhaust job...and its WAY lower then the stock system on the passenger side....to the point you can see it from the side....nothing horrible...but when money comes around this year Im definently gonna fix that too.

Sharp bird, never saw the vents on a TA painted diff color, looks cool

Also, is that your driveway? The brick pavers are nice, they make a driveway look very good, and any good car deserves a nice drive way, I know because my Firebirds have been asking for a nicer drive for years.

Re: Painted T/A hood vents...and some pics

Looking for advise on repainting a GTA hood with vents. I would assume taking the vents out would be best, but I remember having having trouble reinstalling them in the past with too much paint build-up. Please advise...

TIA
