What did you use to clean and prep the calipers for paint? I'm working with PBR calipers and I'm not sure what is safe to use on the aluminum.

Mine were dirty as heck, I used Engine Degreaser and a Metal Wire Brush to clean the caliper, but I applied the Degreaser with a rag so I could keep it from touching the rubber seals and stuff (dont want that stuff in there!) Then once the rear calipers (PBR) were looking like new, I did the same to the caliper carrier and center of the rear brake rotor/hub. Then I sent the rotors out to be turned, and when they came back I painted both the caliper carrier and the middle of the rotor/hub with black Engine Paint. Turned out looking awesome. I ended up doing this to the fronts too, though on the front I also painted the calipers and the spindles black. Looks 100x better. Here's a pic of the fronts after taking it out for a spin, should have let the paint dry longer LOL some of it came off when I put the wheels on. Sorry no pics of the rear online right now ..

Not much Chris. Yea got a few "little" things to do with the bird to get it ready for AF. How's the IROC doing? No ignition problems I hope.

I'm pulling another "no one sees it until AF" deal with a few upgrades. Make sure you swing by and see it.
