How would these wheels look on my car (does anyone else have them)?

I found these z06 motorsport rims on ebay for 500 shipped for 4 17x9.5's. apparently there is also a third gen set that comes in 17x8.5's too and i asked for pics, and they only cost like 75 bucks more. and slightly more for a set of 17x9.5's and 18x10.5's. is anyone else running these? how would they look on my car? maybe a photoshop? and check out the cool centercaps too, id grab the z28 ones.

I'm not gonna lie. Those are some sexy rims and will look really well on your car. I wanted rims like that myself, but I dont think black on black is very exciting. If I had to pick black rims though...those are the best I've seen so far. I hope some other members have those on their cars, it'd love to see them on a car.

hate the rivet...but other then that they would look good. I still think u should go gun metal rims or just a polished look. Some ROH ZS Racing ones would look mighty fine...

These wheels aren't new, and yes they will fit third gens with spacers/adapters.

Quite a few people run these z06 wheels on their third gens

no the same company that sells those has an auction for them to fit third gen cars as well. let me grab the link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black...QQcmdZViewItem

that is from the same exact seller, tomzwheels, as the auction for the other ones. i asked him to email me some pics of the ones made for third gens (expecting a lip or something). ill let you know when i get the pics.

I agree with Sinister. The wheels don't fit the car that well. The color especially. The grey doesnt really match the black. If the wheels were a greyish color, I think I would look a lot better. I'd go ZR1 or so TTIIs. Maybe a hyperblack. But not the Z06 Motorsport wheels. Just my

yea, the pic doesnt look that great. that car also makes my car look a lot worse than it does in person though. what do you think would look good on my car? i was thinking of like a prostar/telstar look if i went with 15s. either those or stock irocs with gray inserts, or maybe the stock z06 wheels? not the shiny ones, the flat ones, they look pretty cool. anyways, here a pic that makes my car look a lot nicer.

see what i mean? i know you cant put the wheels on in that pic, but it makes the car look a lot better.

You car would look great with a lot of different wheels. I think ZR1s, Z06s, Prostars, and 85-87 Irocs would look best. I would stray away from chrome wheels.

What are you using ur car for...? Cause you just listed wheels for show/pure drag/or twisties...it all depends what u wanna do with ur car. If you run 15x4 on the front which i saw you posted in another thread...dont plan on doing anything other then making u-turns and parking and even still have fun with that. Its all what you want to do with ur car...Im still thinking 17 ROH ZS racing look em up i think theyd fit ur car perfect. Gun Metal Grey is the color u should get for ur wheels.

i dont like those roh ones, they look cheap. anyhow i was thinking of just buying those rears and getting a set of 6 or7s for the front. theyre next to nothing on jegs. anyhow, im mainly just making it look good, but i want traction, so its gotta be wide enough. i also really dont wanna run spacers. im gonna get an email back from the guy about the z06's and see what they look like. ill post em up too. i can always paint them gunmetal (or charcoal like my gfx) at school. thanks for the help guys.

oh yea, and i was talking about the 85-87 irocs. i dont like the 88-90 ones. thanks again guys.

i have those on my black vert.....

Where did you find those center caps i want to ditch my chrome ones for some black ones...... The car looks much better now after i dropped it a bit and swapped out some parts, i wish i could get some better pics but it's snowing..... In retrospect i wish i would have gotten 18's all the way around though.

yuck i hate snypers too. do you have pics of the vert? those centercaps were a choice when you buy the wheels through the auction. you can email the seller though and see if he will sell them seperately.

im liking the firehawks, but theyre a little much for me right now.

alright guys i got pics. well, they look exactly the same to be honest, no extra lip. i think what the difference is, is that under where the centercap goes, there is more space to go in, if you know what i mean. here check this pic out.

damn, i cant find them, but you get the point. ill try again later.

The steering wheel is a factory wheel, i dont remeber what i got it from i think it was a z34 lumina, or a a cavailer.... whatever it was it looks at home moreso than the ugly factory non airbag wheel.... the cool think is the center hornbutton comes in white and red..... i choose white......
