Where can i get this stuff??
I use to know someone who worked at Ziebar, its a company that cleans out your car. He use to hook me up and fill up my spray bottle with the stuff they used to clean the interior. It was a green colour and u can use it to clean every part of the interior; seats, carpets, headlineing, plastic, everything. that stuff works amazing too! It doesnt fad the colour or anything, its perfect lol it got out a bunch pen marks in a couple seconds, my interior looks like new again. Anyway my friend got a new job so he quit Ziebar and now im all out of the stuff. So i went to Ziebar to see if they would sell me a bit((fill a small spray bottle)). i even offered 50$ and they still said no! does anyone know what that stuff it? Is there a place on the net i could buy it from or something? or some special way to make it?lol Any info on this would be great.
Thanks
Jason

I know of a product called Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner. It works great on all surfaces but I havent used it on a fabric like a seat or headliner. A gallon like this will run you about $12-$15.

I love simple green. I have used it on carpet and seats, it works very well. Dilute it like 40:1 with HOT water. I use it in my steam cleaner because it works better on carpet than carpet shampoo.

I used simple green until I discovered the orange "Greased Lightning" cleaner at Wal Mart. Costs less, smells better, and is much more effective as a degreaser.

I'll have to try the Greased Lightning. I always try different products. I usually clean the interior with Simple Green, let it dry, then go back over it with Armor All to protect it.
Can I use Greased Lightning on seats? There's a little smug on my rear seat that i have been trying to work out with ordinary carpet cleaner. I don't want to use anything else just to make sure I do'nt stain the seats with the cleaner.

Use brake cleaner. Brake cleaner is almost 100% identical to dry cleaning fluid. spray it onto a paper towel, and pat the area with the paper towel, then pat it with a dry paper towel.

why don't you call Ziebar and tell them you are picky customer who wants to know the brand of cleaner they use before you let them touch the car. once you know that I am sure you can find a supplier on the internet. sometimes you have to tell a little white lie to get what you want in the service industries.

I use to work for Ziebart Product Support...the official but simple name to the stuff is "Shop cleaner", kinda yellowish green color...typically not the chemical used for interiors but did work on tough stains. The proper chemical to use on interior is "interior cleaner"..again simple. Clear chemical with a little bit of soap and some smelly stuff.
Its been a few years since I was there so Im sure the manufacture has changed, but at the time the manufacture that we used made other products for other companies but were not the same...maybe very similar though.
If you check out Ziebart.com they list products they now sell to the public, check out the tire and wheel cleaner...it looks like thats what you want.
