Cleaning mega shifter's boot

i've heard armorall eats up the shifter boot. what does everyone use to clean theirs. would lexol wipes work ok ? thanks

Most people around here wont vouch for armor-all b/c after long time use, you cant stop. It does something to the rubber to make it break down if you stop.

Ive always found a lot of success with leather conditioner products (I like mother's myself)

Just use soap and water. It won't shine, but also won't attract dust. Thats the reason I hate amorall, sure it looks pretty, but 2 days later it looks 2x worse.

Just soak a cloth in warm water, wring it out, and wipe it down. Works fine. The reason I dont use armor all, is because it looks greesy and too shiny afterward. I use a product called spitfire. About 10 minutes after I apply it, there is no shine, just looks like a brand new dashboard (or shifter boot in your case).
