the camaros

Heres my gf's RS and my Z28...they were together so i had to get some shots...both are pretty dirty but ya just wanted to show em.

Just got the RS to pass emmisions this morning! was so cool its finally legal after about 5 months after we bought it. Its got so many new parts on it its not even funny...ive been working on it for a long time, its gonna be her daily driver sence shes back from college and needed a car and the goal was to make it dependable/reliable we will see how that goes. Few appearance things were the grid taillights painted and painted the wheels black with the polished lip. Also a z28 grille.

As for my car...its getting some 17" snypers, lowered, lots of suspension work done by this spring ill have new pics of her in a month or 2.

Cars look sweet. Props on getting your girl a third gen lol. Did you redo your taillight mod and paint the amber parts black? Looks awesome.

thanks for the comment guys, haha its funny my gf didnt use to like third gens at all. I made them grow on her lol. We got the RS for $400! and it ran pretty good so it was a steal in my opinion. Interior is shot and the suspension is still in need of some work but the engine/tranny work and run great and thats the most important part.

Oh and we just got 11" of snow so we arent that lucky...it was like 65 degrees at the end of last week now its like 15 degrees this winters been wack...

For the tail lights i gave my old ones to her cause they had a crack and too much overspray for my liking. We cleaned them up took them apart sprayed translucent red from the inside then polished the outside, looks good. For my car i figured out that you could polish over paint so instead of taking them apart(which is a major pain in the ***) I sprayed about 3-4 coats of translucent red then prolly 3 coats of nightshades on the outside. Then I sanded and buffed then put 3 more coats of nightshade on. Sanded and buffed again and it looks great now. You can see through perfectly and it matches the other black section. Both are shiny too. It looks the best with what we can work with for tail lights. I just hate amber with a passion so i cant live with it. lol.

That must be a real pain in the rear. Glad I don't have to deal with it here! Nice cars.

I let my girlfriend drive my car once, i was freaking out the whole time. No more of that. I'm guessing the RS has the lo3 in it?
