for chrome rims, i would go with a darker color, blue would be nice, maybe GM's navy blue metallic.

well I saw that you PM'd me, so I figured Id just post here.....you say your limit is under 1k and you want to go through earl schieb......I dont even knwo that they would paint a tri-stage candy paintjob let alone for that price. Most if not all candy jobs I have seen are in the range of 5-20k....they look amazing for a reason. I know that PPG and possibly dupont make a 2 stage candy job, but in comparison you can tell the difference. Metallic jobs in general will run a good price...so if you get a hookup more to you. As for comparing it to mine, Ill admit that mine is far from a perfect candy paintjob, but I would have to defend myself in saying that it's alot better than anythign earl schieb could do....good luck nonetheless

Well, the previous owner of mine had it painted at earl Schieb and a few months later it faded.I can't really even wash it now or the paint comes off!I would consider someplace else.Whatever you do,get a base/clear.

I went to 1 day paint and body and they quoted me $1987.27 for a stage 2 paint job, which they showed me on a few mustangs and camaros and they look nice as hell! mirror effect.
