How do you keep it clean?
How do you keep it clean?
We've got paved roads,
Just a half acre of dirt!
besides having to pay big $$$ on cement, I have used 12 inch by 12 inch pavers you can get from Home Depot, and put some of those down, as well as using small rocks to fill between.
Nowhere near finished, butt it will be fairly soon.
Big problem here, is the wind blowing dirt from everyone else's property!
I just wash the cars out of the garage alot.
Cars inside do get some dust, but I wipe them down, and keep them covered.

I live about 1/2 mile off the highway, so this is the only gravel I drive on, and want to drive on. Moving at about 10 - 15 MPH, idle if I just washed it. People call me crazy for doing that though. I use a duster to keep it clean between washes.

I had to use a proxy to access this after all the down time... Still can't access the site!
OK! When there's dirt on your car, what is the best way to clean it? Lessay, I just cleaned it, went down my road.. Obviously if I just take a cloth to it, and wipe it off, it'll scratch. You don't want to do a full cleaning job on it again, obviously.. So how would you go about getting that little bit off? I don't think a pressure washer will help? Will it?

i have about a 1/4 mile of gravel to drive on... i go as slow as possible, and if i have a good wax on it i will use my cali car duster, if not i had it leave streakes that the dust sticked to... oh and ive used a tire shine... bad i dea it was a magnet for dust

i have the answer to your sacred question
go buy some Meguiar's Detailer Spray, and go to Walmart and get a few "microfiber" rags.
after you wash your car, as long as it doesn't get TOO dirty you can just use the spray bottle and rags to keep it clean the week after you washed it
