I think those blackouts on the parking lights look bad. And that guy went a little overboard with the hood locks/pins.

I think he just used some blackout paint, and sprayed the lens cover to black them out. To my knowledge, no one makes actual blackouts for our parking lights. I think that a good spray job would look better than a blackout anyway. Something to look into.

He's got a fiberglass hood that doesn't use the factory latching equipment, hence the hood pins.

If I recall correctly, that car has some serious **** done to it...but it's been a while since I've seen that car.

ws, I am pretty sure that we all know what the pins are for it's just that they look like crap. Much cleaner look with flush mounted dzus fasteners, imho.

Hmmm....I fail to see what's so nice about
this car....the front spoiler looks like
it has hit the curb several dozen times...
the black spray on the parking lights look
like crap...they've been completely darkened and not "tinted", and the hood pins look out of place... I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

My advice to you is to mix some clear coat
and some black paint, then spray your
lights...with some practice, you will get
the results you see below on the rear lights.
This will give you a nice tint on the
front parking lights....

I actually really like that car. It's not high-budget, but nice. But, I could do without 6 pins. 2 would be nice.

The hood looks to be a LIFT OFF HARWOOD. and i dont care for all the hood pins. if i had to do something like that i would get the flush mounted ones. they atleast look clean. just my opinion.
and i am not one for spray painted lights. i like the black clear coat better. and it looks as though he didnt even take them out of the front end when he sprayed. that is too bad.

I dont think it has a sunroof. light would be coming down to the seats. and lift-off hoods are tha shiznit. I wouldn't liek to completely paint my signal covers, but spray tinting sounds cool.

p.s. I think that the guy DID go a little overboard on the rearview mirror crap.

car is pretty normal looking, besides the cowl hood, 6 pins and black spray paint...but you guys need to stop rippin on the pins & lift off hoods... most people have good reasons for having a lift off hood / pins.. but they do like kind of out of place on his z. As far as the dzus fasteners go.. I would never put those things on my car. so damn chinsy.. dont trust them. I like my setup, 2 hood pins in front, and 2 barrel lock "pins" in the back.. but, everyone has their opinion. oh well.
