Turbo Trans Am with ZERO miles!!!

I just bought my baby girl Kelsey her first car. She's only 8 1/2 month's old but she's already got her first thirdgen. (Am I the coolest dad ever or what?) It's a battery operated '89 Turbo Trans Am. It's number 5 of 100 made. This one was actually still new in it's original box. She can't even come close to reaching the pedals yet but I wanted to her to have a car for Thirdgen Fest. Of course, she loves it. If you look close, you can see she's giving the thumbs up!!!

This one was on eBay a few weeks ago. I definitely figured it would sell for more than it did. I bid $825 on it but got it for $365.

By the way, thanks everybody for the compliments (on the car and on my little girl.) I don't think we could have gotten a better picture. I didn't even notice she happened to have her thumb up when I took the picture. I noticed it right after when I looked at it in the camera. It's just one of those fluke things that makes for a great picture. The car is something I was looking to buy eventually but when she came along I knew I wanted to get one for her as soon as possible.

Good for you!
I need to get one from 2 reasons.
1) I have a 20th TTA,
2) To go with my other Turbo car!

I had 2 of those as a kid. Dont know why though I guess it was a popular toy at ToysRUs back in the day.

I totally want to get something like that for my daughter! She's only 4 months old so it would be quite a while before she could reach the pedals!

My father in law bought her a john deere pedal tractor...two years before she was even born!

Awesome toy car and cute baby!

Re: Turbo Trans Am with ZERO miles!!!

I just figured for Father's Day this year I would get an updated picture up of Kelsey and her car. She's grown up a lot since the first picture. She's turning four on June 29th. She loves her car and can reach the pedals now but it still has no miles on it because I haven't gotten her a good battery for it yet.

Oh well, Happy Father's Day from all of us at Thirdgen Ranch.

(Don't forget to check out our Father's Day Sale going on now through June 28th!!!)

Re: Turbo Trans Am with ZERO miles!!!

She's been looking at that for FOUR YEARS, can't drive it, and STILL gives you the thumbs up over it?

Do something like that in 12 years and the single finger she's holding up, won't be her thumb! "Honey.....Here's your car for the day you get your license at 16, but you won't be driving it until your after 20."
